In the course of digital transformation, new technologies are being absorbed, used and further developed by companies, organisations and individuals. These processes take place at all stages of the value chain. In the research area "Organisations and Individuals", opportunities and risks related to this are to be analysed by scientists from various disciplines. A distinction can be made between two interrelated priorities: On the one hand, the changes brought about by digital transformation are being investigated. On the other hand, the prerequisites for a successful digital transformation will be explored.
